[sdiy] minimoog Voyager !!!!!

even without any electronics knowledge whatsoever, it would still be a
dubious purchase, regardless of its cult status, esp for the masses.

I mean, cmon, even now I would be more tempted to spend 1k+ on just a
minimoog, Sunsyn, Andromeda, Omega, ATC-1, Waldorf Q, and get more poly,
more keys, yadda yadda.

This board is just for purist imo, and Bob knows that to them money is no
object, although there aren't many out there so he is going to charge out
the wazoo for the added cost of doing small runs etc etc.

The signature is hilarious.. One thing I always liked about synths was that
there wasn't this rock star mentality. You could be who you wanted to be
without a designer or some other rock stars name getting in the way.

What he is doing is kinda good though, in a way: charging the
"gotta-have-its" the gotta have price to pay for the tooling cost, etc, so
that when the rest of us decide its a decent unit and get the feel for it,
we buy it and get charged far less.
