Sure.  You can run Performer on anything down to a Plus, I think. 
It's still one of my favorite sequencers.  I'm all about having 
different computers dedicated to different tasks (as long as they're 
free or cheap).  One for a hard disk recorder, one for MIDI 
sequencing, and another for all the other graphics/internet/hoo-ha. 
Wouldn't want to risk having the new version of Netscape (bleh..) 
crashing all my nice audio stuff into pieces (it's happened).

So far I'm managed to amass a Classic, a Powerbook 145, a Powerbook 
160, and Quadra 900, all for next to nothing.  Yay for scrap heaps 
and thrift stores.
