   Typical problem of this simple phase splitter - unequal output
   resistances. 

It's worse than that; loading down the cathode/source/emitter output
will increase the output gain at the plate/drain/collector.

I don't know how audible this effect is in a phase shifter circuit.
If it is audible, it can't be too bad since two of the most cherished
phased shifters (the Univibe and the Magnatone) work this way.
