The surplus store near me has bipolar 12V Power-One supplies right now.
There were about 10 of them there the other day for $20 each. I bought
some for people on the EFM list, and could also buy them for anyone on SDIY
that lives in the US.
These are open frame models, and you'll need to attach a power cord / fuse.
Not for the absolute beginner, or anyone unsure of safe handling of line
voltage.
Anyone interested, please respond off-list. They're $20 each, and the last
batch I sent was about $6 to ship / insure sent via US postal service.
