I wanted to do the same, but with the SH-101. Instead of building a
CV/Gate-pedal I used a simple organ pedal with matrix switches and
connected it over the matrix switches of the keyboard. Works perfect. As
side effect I can transpose the Arpeggiator/Sequencer with the pedal and
have CV/Gate out.
The same should be valid for the Junos Arpeggiator and its MIDI out.
