I pulled off a TOG using a 50MHz SX18.

I've got tons of literature and some devkit software on these. You can
do some interesting things like assign at compile time what hardware
peripherals you would like. If you just need the receiver of a UART, you
can get it, for example. I need to tinker with these some more, but I
have enough PIC stuff on the plate to last a while...
