Yes.  I'm not maintaining any gap however so I lubricate the disk with 
silicone and it does okay.  Messy however.  I cant make something with tight
enough tolerance to run with a gap.  If I could just find some transformer
oil I'd just dunk the whole assembly in it however I cant find any places
that will sell less then 5 gallons and even then they seem to act weird
when a "civilian" wants to buy it.
