Hi Martin,

What type of nonlineality do you mean?  If you are interested in
circuits like transistor ladder filter, search "log-domain" at Google.
Log-domain filters and log-domain curcuits are hot topics in circuit
theory.  You'll find a lot of academic papers and some books. 

Even if you are not interested in it, you may be able to find good
books or papers in section of references.
