Anything that works for you is great.
The one advantage to using a schematic capture program with your PCB
program is that you can have the PCB program check the board against the
netlist generated by the schematic program. This cuts down
significantly on errors on your PC boards, although, stupid errors can
still get through. If you have an error on your schematic, the PCB
program will insist on having the same same error on the PC board. For
those who have seem my Synth Module Board (1200+ components), there were
"0" circuit errors on that board...or I should say, the board matched
the schematic 100% (there were a few boo-boo's in the schematic).
