Hi Jay and all,
Its actually not really brand new. The Datasheets I have are from 1997, and
its
mentioned in the opamp selection guide in my issue of "The Art of
Electronics".
The TL051 is somewhat faster than the TL071/81 (20V/uS vs 13V/us).
They are quite good performers, though I find the TL052 and 54 are not really
worth the extra cost, because they are slower than the TL051.
I've applied the 051 in VCOs as integrators, where you can make good use of
the
extra speed.
