[sdiy] Two questions about the list

Hello,
 I've just joined the list but have two questions:

1) From having been a list-member only a couple of days I already see
that I'm going to get a *LOT* of messages. Is it possible to subscribe
to a digested version, only getting a collection of all messages once a
day?

There was nothing about this at the website I found when searching for
this list, nor the welcoming mail.


2) Can discussions about MIDI DIY projects be done here, or is it all
just analogue synthesizers?
(if no, where is a more suitable place to discuss MIDI DIY?)
