It's labeled "interface" as a matter of fact, and i don't think it is of any
use.
In the manual it is simply marked with a "*" as if something was supposed to
be there but never made it.
Maybe it's an option to connect some kind of programming device, but i've
never heard that it actually exists.
Working with the VX600 I allways have the feeling that it is something like
a unfinished project, intended to be a instrument with many more functions
that were never finished, maybe due to lack of money, time or the pressure
of the market to release it.
It's still a very nice synth though!
