When I interviewed for a modem FAE position at Cirrus Logic (3 jobs ago), I had to 'pass' a group
oral interview with about 8 managers. I had been warned the VP of sales (loud, obnoxious guy from
AMD) like to 'wander' in and try to rattle you.

About 40 min. into the interview, he wanders in, plops down into a chair, scowling. About 3
questions later, he interrupts me in mid-sentence and shouts, "I bet you don't even know what a
decibel is!". I thought for 1 second, looked him straight in the eye and said "A tenth of a Bel".

He jumped up and roared "That's the best f*ing answer I've heard in 5 years! Hire this asshole!"
And they did.
