i use the el-cheapo 4124 trannies for this purpose in my own modules. i was
planning to run the LEDs supply from the midi2cv8's 5 volt supply since the
analog output section is powered from a separate +-15V. however, the 7805
regulator on board is supplied from the +15. shouldn't the regulator
compensate for most of the current switching interference and keep it
reasonably isolated from the analog supply?
