Exactly, I don't disagree. In fact, this is the main
reason I consider the box to be quite limiting as part
of a modular setup. I think I only posted on AH, but
what I was saying is that having two 102's is not that
useful to me because as soon as you try to do much
beyond fantasic bass, or beautiful triangle lead
sounds, the limitations of the box get in the way. I
don't like some of the normalizations and I the cv
bleedthrough in the filter makes it next to impossible
to anything really interesting with.
But, the filter does "sound" nice if you aren't trying
to sweep it very quickly or very much. It makes
fantasic bass sounds. As commented earlier, I also
like the 102s triangle wave, it's very "pretty".
So, I was hoping to perhaps capture those aspects in
some diy projects and then let the box go. I'm still
undecided but discussing the circuits is quite
interesting to me.
