Also, recall that 0 dBV and 0 dBu means different voltages!
0 dBV = 1 Vrms
0 dBu = 775 mVrms
or put in a different maner:
0 dBV = 2.22 dBu
0 dBu = -2.22 dBV
so your correction is over 2 dB worth!
