Just as an aside, if you look at the original 909 bass drum schematic (
http://members.tripod.de/raf909/bassdrum.htm ) it looks like the connection
from the collector of Q4 to R35 may also connect to the bottom of R8.
In fact, the symbol at the bottom of R8 is a down arrow, indicating that R8
is connected to -15V.
There is no connection to the line it appears to touch.
My attack pulse didn't work for a while when I made this mistake.
