Joystick - SourceHi all,
there are three companies that I found the most useful in finding surplus vintage/analogue components in the UK :-

1) 'Diverse Devices'
http://homepages.tcp.co.uk/~diverse/
..run by chap called Nigel. He used to have a shop in Southampton..now just sells stuff from home. He has list of his stocks on diskette..check out the website.
 2) Crowethorne tubes
http://www.crowthornetubes.co.uk/
Run by a very nice guy called Gerry Horrox....mostly tubes but other quirky items. He does still have a bunch of old analogue components, though I believe he wants to get rid them soon and concentrate on tube stuff.

3) technical and scientific supplies:-
http://www.technicalscientific.com/
Run by another very nice guy (actually a Physicist) called Roy..he has a lot of vintage analogue items from the National Physical Laboratory. His house/garage/ is stuffed full of amazing analogue equipment..much of which he designed himself when he worked at the NPL. Loads of yer basic analogue components at excellent prices PLUS he has
many chips (ttl logic+ analogue).

Hope this is useful to UK synth-headz,
cheers
steve

Anyone know of a source for nice metal joysticks suitable for DIY mounting?
