I think it was Alvin Tofler (Future Shock) who projected that technology
would inevitably shift the dynamics of human power. It is a simple matter of
resource allocation. Since there will always be dissidents, no matter how
just the government, resources must be expended to control them.

So how many people does it require to control one person? As technology
empowers the individual, more and more people will be required for each
dissident. Tofler theorized we would see a time where technology had
empowered the individual to the point where a fundamental shift in human
dynamics will occur.

Oddly, the sanest voice I heard came on at 5:30 am in the form of MRS.
Shamir on the Canadian news. In a careful and sincere way, she described how
the human race has lost control of our old reality forever. She made it
clear that, the level of power demonstrated by a small group in these
attacks, is a threat to every single person on this planet. A fundamental
shift in human dynamics, the price of everyone's security just took a
quantum step. To the point where only a coordinated global effort can pay
the bill.

If the leader is still alive, he/she is a terrorist Shooting Star that has
the Mossad and PLO shitting bricks together in the SAME outhouse. Yassar
Arafats stuttering was from the shock of finding out just how out of date he
really is, he now has more in common with the Israelis than with these
monsters. The people responsible have already been defeated by their own
unimaginable effectiveness. It couldn't be more ironic of Palestine and
Israel finally find common ground in condemning these atrocities together.
The biggest backfire in the history of terrorism.

That would be Revenge served VERY cold. We can only pray.
