[sdiy] How do you make those module panels?

Hello all

I've been seeing the many beautiful module panels that many of you have 
made and have pictures of on your web sites.

How do you make them?  I am curious about the numbered markings for the 
pots as well as the esthetic colorations used on many of them.  I am going 
to be building some modules based on some of your designs, some of the web 
designs I've found, and on just PCB's purchased from various sources could 
use some pointers on making nice looking module panels.
