Me and my friends from www.zem.de will have a sound performance
in Emmendingen near Freiburg, Germany, fromthe 28th of Sept to 30th ofSept
2001.
This performance is dedicated to the classical "Elektronische Musik"
as perhaps best described in this statement:
"...since new sounds can be produced by
electronic means that are completely unknown
to the traditional music and since a
reasonable application of electronic sound
synthesis is beyond the limits of mechanical
instruments (and therefore traditional
music), Electronic Music defines an interely
new, meta-musical sound world." (Herbert Eimert)
(btw.: some Haiblesian stuff would fit perfectly into this frame)
(btw.: there is an awfull photo of me in http://www.zem.de/berichte.htm
click "Elektronische Klangmatineen" (green pullover)
click "Klingende Steinhalle" (red pullover))
The performance overview http://www.zem.de/termine.htm is
only available in German language.
On my side the latest experiments with long sequence convolution
as well as near perfect digital ring modulation will be
audible. I guess this means no sleep till Friday. Gulp!
Thank you for your attention
