Lemme see... where do I begin? I've built most of the EFM projects with
circuit boards. All of them work. I've built loads of stuff from the EFM
Cookbook pages... 3 versions of the VCO1, a couple of VCO5s, a few VCF6
variations, VCF1, VCF2b, the ARP 2600 VCF with the quad Norton op amp
(VCF7?), many variations of VCF8, VCF9b, the dual LFO, and a few more
I'm forgetting. All of them work. I did hit a dead end with VCO555
(works, only hear audio when I run the saw output through a .1 uf cap)
and VCO3a (tried troubleshooting it for a while, but never got audio
from it). Oh, and the EML VCF... sort of works in bandpass.

Given the investment in time, and the VERY small investment in $$$, I'd
say my experience with EFM has been overwhelmingly positive. Tom is one
of the heavyweight contributors to S-DIY, as far as I'm concerned. If he
decides to leave S-DIY, it'll be a great loss to everyone, IMHO.
