I think that sometimes those who have been building a
while forget what it's like to be a beginner. Reminds
of the second time I went snowboarding. Anyway, I
think PAIA is the only "heathkit" like option today.
If you are an ABSOLUTE beginner, none of the other
choices will give you step by step instructions.

Well, I wouldn't disagree that the ASM1 is a bit more
than the PAIA stuff, but, the PAIA stuff is also, for
the most part, semimodular, perhaps semi-semimodular.
IMHO, the MadMouse gets the most
gee-that's-really-neat! points, however.
I think if I can ever get tom to answer my emails I
might have to get me one of those ;)
