[sdiy] Semi-OT: bass-amp problem

Hi Folks,

Sorry for the semi off-topic post but I have this question concerning my 
Laney DP 150 bassamp. This is the problem:

On powering up it works fine, but after a while the volume decreases until 
you can't hear anything. Then suddenly, without warning, it bursts into 
full volume again (which is of course is much louder than in the beginning 
because of the dumb-ass volume-tweaking). This cycle keeps on repeating 
itself over and over. I think it must be something in the capacitors but I 
have no idea which ones... As far as I could see the problem lies in the 
preamp.

As I need the amplifier for a gig on october the 7th any help would be 
greatly appreciated!!
