[sdiy] Schaeffer panels & colours

Hi!

I ordered a frontpanel a few months ago. Green anodized aluminium with white
lettering. I have to say the finish is really nice but the color is very
dark. So the green is rather darkgreen, the same applies to the other
standard colors offered by schaeffer. I think there are photographs of the
colors on Schaeffer's homepage.

Has anyone here ordered panels from Schaeffer using a material colour
other
than silver (natural) or black? I'm tempted to order a panel based upon
a
material colour of blue, yellow or maybe red, but I'm worried about how
it
might turn out. If the panel still has that nice aluminium finish to it
and
it looks nice then I'll go for it - but I'd rather stick to natural if
the
paint finish looks kind of garish. Any opinions, or even panel
photographs
maybe?
