[sdiy] plexiglass panels for modular?

Ed I had the same experience years ago with my very fist module.
I made the 2 rack-unit high panel out of black plex and after all that
work... a few months later - it Cracked!
it was way too involved to go back in and take it all apart just to fix
so it sat there, embarrassing me for a couple of years until I junked it.
People would ask,"Hey! What is that thing??"
and I'd say "oh, I built that" and people would say something like
"yeah, too bad..." or "I thought so" (It was no fun)!
Support it really really well in the back, (all around from the back if you
must) and Yes - Tim is right, use the special Plex drill bits,
make it thicker than you think you should, and drill slow speeds
as any bit get gunked-up quickly and, otherwise makes a bigger hole that you
originally wanted.
Oh, by the way, that also means a lot of ground-buss soldering to all the
panel components that most of us alluminumites take for granted...
(Are you really sure you want to use plex)? LOL!
