RE: [sdiy] plexiglass panels for modular?Plexiglas is quite easy to drill, but you need sharp bits (metal or wood bits are ok) and use a low rotation speed.
A drill-stand (column drill) works good, however a _non_electric hand drill may be your ticket for success here.

  I tried using plexiglass.  It's hard to drill but I'll bet there's a way to drill them with good results - I just can't recommend what that is because I gave up after seeing the crappy results I got.
