Harry and list,
Jupiter-8  can be set up so VCO2 can do LFO duty on VCO1, there is a 
global rate control so all VCO2's are at approximately the same freq. 
Can add a lot of pleasant animation to the sound, and a single global 
LFO can add further interesting  modulation. Prophet 5 polymod is 
similar.

You could always make a multi-phase LFO with a separate phase for each 
voice channel - this will eliminate any beating effects that might occur 
if all LFO's are truly independent.. say a 6-phase LFO for 6 voices.
