[sdiy] Death of DIY?

In Poland we have something like 10 magazines.
Dedicated to different levels of DIY experience.
Everey one is filled with DIY projects with PCB
layouts and design concepts. Some of the projects
are crap, some are just not good, but some are
even interesting. Looking at them it seems like
they are driven by semiconductor distributors
to promote chips they sell.
