a question for any cr-78 owners:
i have one here i'm fixing up for a friend. besides it occasionally refusing
to start/stop, there's an add-on midi board that i can't get to work. it's a
'bytemasters retro board' fitted on top of the main pcb and it's supposed to
midify the cr78. on the back are 2 midi ports with a double dipswitch in
between. i can't get it to work, and inside everything looks ok. of course
there's no manual.
anyone has a cr78 like this and care to share its secrets? do i have to
press certain button codes bvefore startup to get the midi to work? i
figured out the lights on the pattern 1-4 section change when the dip
switches on the back are set different.. a midi channel indicator?
any help is appreciated!
