You think I'm joking about the relays? Let me tell
you: I was once part of a team that made a Central
Track Control system for a railroad. It used about
10,000 8PDT relays. You could estimate how many relays
were picked up by how loud the power supply was
buzzing. All those relays sounded very .. well .. very
sci-fi channel.
