Check out Cleaveland Aircraft Tool on the web, and see the
Adel Nibble Tool and the Jilway Nibble Tool.  Cutting square
holes can be quite do-able.

I would not want to do a whole bunch of holes... but having a
display is useful.  I used some old 64K OTP EPROMS...
I programmed the dispay into them. A whole 16 bytes of data ;^P

A small PAL would have been better... but I had the EPROMs for
free so...
