my personal choice is sending PCB project to PCB
fab. No messy chemicals at home, no worry about
quality and as a bonus - good semi-proffesional
look :)
I'm lucky to have access to cheap PCB fab and
that's the main reason I dropped etching at home.
It's simply not worth the trouble.
