Yes, it looks like we are on the same page. Your understanding and mine on
what a Analog Sequencer is is the same thing... ;^)
What I had in mind was a relatively simple circuit. You would use an already
existing oscilator to feed into a module that would generate a Midi Clock event on
either the rising or faling edge of the analog clock signal. It would consist of
a couple of flip flops, a couple of shift register IC's like say a 74HC166 , a
1MHz oscilator, and a couple of dividers. I was going to do some of this is a
22v10, but this is probably easier. Oh yeah, and a 74hc05 and a 5 pin din midi
connector...I can probably cook this up by tonight.
For going the otherway, ie MidiClock -> Aanalog clock, there are several parts
that will do this already, so if you want this capability, get one of them. The
website you orignially posted had a DIY solution, and Blacet has one as well.
