i just wanted to post a message thanking everyone who responded to my "beginner's
questions" thread, i got a lot of useful tips. despite recomendations i've
had not to, i have still decided to build my own synth from assorted circuit
diagrams and not a kit. i am fortunate enough to know several willing and
helpful people here in phoenix who will lend a hand - including someone who
has the equipment for me to cast my own faceplates by melting down aluminum.
go figure what people have lying around in their garages. at the very least,
it will be an interesting experiment in alchemy. anyways, seeing as this
is getting really long, really fast, thanks again! i look forward to picking
all of your brains in the near future (probably tomorrow in fact).
