I like to join the kinky party as well...
We had an industrial control that had some noise problems.
THREADED together were the signals for the communications, the
digital signals hooked up to I/O (typically - chattering relays)
and also the 120VAC power... all neatly bundled like my wife likes
to do to my desktop.
This is OK provided that the mortgage bill does not get buried with
last month's magazines...
... or to put it more "on-topic"...
This is OK as long as the wires you bundle 'neatly' do not have electrical characteristics that don't play well together.
Its a real chore to design a wire bundle that will not degrade the
performance of the circuit by introducing unwanted coupling, crosstalk
etc...
so I like to 'not' bundle wires... but separate the inputs and outputs
sometimes running the wires through 'free space'...
but hey kids... the kinky thing does sound appealing...
BTW Cynthia... do you get your dental floss from a farm in "Montana"
by any chance ??? ;^P
