[sdiy] The definition of synthesizer

Ah, this explains all the other crap that American Colleges teach people...

Mirriam-Webster has this:

Main Entry: syn·the·siz·er
Pronunciation: -"sI-z&r
Function: noun
Date: 1869
1 : one that synthesizes <an expert synthesizer of diverse views>
2 : a usually computerized electronic apparatus for the production and
control of sound (as for producing music)

I'm not a person who knows a lot about production synths of the past and
present. Is the part about "usually computerized" true? I supposed, by
now, most of the ones in existence are probably computerized one way or
another...

- What good are laws that only lawyers understand?
- Government: The other religion.
- The media's credibility should always be questioned.
- Thankfully, insects are rather small.
