I have the upper & lower manuals unit out of what was an already partly
scavenged Sears Silvertone organ. It's gone untouched for awhile now and
thought someone here could give it a better home--like say in some cool DIY
project(s).

Anyone able/willing to drive to or meet near the New Bedford MA USA area can
have it.

Details/caveats:

--The two manuals are together mounted on a plywood panel base. My cursory
unschooled look at it: some damage to the contact mechanism at one end of
the upper manual, 3 stuck keys in the lower.

--What seem to oscillator circuit boards are mounted along the back edge on
the panel base. 12 of those, 3 assigned to the same 3 chromatic notes (3 of
"A# B C" etc.). Each has an adjustable coil. One of the boards is
busted--sorry, but I should still have the coil in case you were so ambitious
as to reconstuct the board. <g>

--Some other hardware/gew gaws about which I cannot reliably comment: 2
banks of 6 rocker switches, 4 transformers.

--If you want it, Sat Dec. 28th (tomorrow) and Monday the 30th would be good
days for me. Otherwise, it'd have to wait till mid-January. I only offering
this now on the off chance someone can take it sooner than that.

Please write offlist if you're interested/comment onlist if you have any
observations to share (like "wow", "neato" or perhaps "good lord, man, that
thing's of no use to anyone . . . just put in a dumpster").

Back to lurking now,
Kevin Seward
