[sdiy] Help needed identifying power transistor

Greetings,
I am repairing an organ and an output power transistor in a TO-3 package has
failed. The package is marked with a Motorola symbol followed by 062-00-D
and then 7939. I am assuming that the 7939 is the date code. Does anybody
know what this device is or what is a modern replacement? Specifically, NPN
or PNP? Or how about an online resource for looking up a modern replacement!
