What's more likely connected to their reverse of fortune, is that RS
Electronics are rude, disorganized, and generally incompetent. Just to
give you one example of their complete and total idiocy, their 800 number
doesn't work from Connecticut, so I can only call them from New York. If
that weren't enough, if you dialed information to get their regular number
in Livonia, Michigan, the number listed didn't work. When I informed them
this, they claimed to be unaware of either situation.

What's ironic is that sometimes you can _only_ get samples if you need a
small quantity. I remember having to replace an ALPS switch, and my two
choices were buying +1,000 switches or asking for a free sample.
