[sdiy] Rotary Encoder Question

Hi
The ALPS type come in "audio" type where there is no detent or notched feel
to the pot.
With these, it is possible to decode the outputs such that each quarter of
the phase can give a step.
This then effectively give you 24*4 98 steps per rev.
