I think I know the track you're referring to, although I haven't heard it, 
only been told about it. One of their albums has a modem carrier and data on 
one track, and if you put it on your phone line and try to connect to it with 
your modem, it'll connect and type out a strange story of some sort on the 
screen......They're actually still around as far as I know, but have shifted 
from their old sound (which I might define as "house" or something like that) 
to a much more industrial sound. There's a track or two by them on the 
"Electrofixx" compilation that came out on Metropolis maybe 3 years ago.

Also, EBN (emergency broadcast network) is back in action, at least to some 
degree, after about 4 years off. There's info and videos available here:
