Hey Christian,
The 74LS stuff is still available from TI (see link below). The purpose
of the message was to point out that ON Technology will be discontinuing
production leaving TI to be the only supplier. If any one wants some of
these components, it might be best to get what one needs now, rather
than wait for TI to follow suit.
