[sdiy] silly inductor question

Can anyone tell me how SMD inductors/chokes are marked?
For example I have one with marking 470K and it is 47uH.
I'm only guessing that 3rd digit is number of zeros, and
"K" stands for "micro", but it may be totally wrong.
What about 180J, 4R7?
I guess it's not so obvious as with resistance.
