hi all,
since the weather isn't too good here, i thought it's time to get the kawai
100f's cv/gate inputs modified for normal 1v/oct use. i've borrowed a second
100f which has this modification done, and am trying to reverse-engineer.
there are 2 small extra circuit boards with this mod inside the machine: one
with a TL071cp and 2 capacitors with "1.35" on it, and one with an LM741cn,
some resistors (210/2.1k), 2 very small capacitors with "33" and "22" on it,
and 2 small ones with "105" on it. i believe i asked about the last 2
already here, but i'm missing part of my mail archive from the diy list..
it doesn't seem too hard of a job since it's basically copying what's in
from of me.. but i have a hard time with the capacitor values. is there an
exact way to determine this? how do you know if something is measured in uF,
or pF? what would these examples above be?
and second: the lm741 in the original is an 8 pin ic. the one i ordered is
an lm741ch, which is round. is this the same thing? how do i know the pin
numbers?
i know, the usual newbie questions.. but when it's done, i'll post the mod,
since i believe there's quite a few 100f owners who'd like to do this.
thanks!
