[sdiy] Strange little Resistors?

Hi Gang!

I just got a parts order in from Digikey containing some
itsy-bitsy teenie-tiny little blue 1% Metal Film Resistors...

They're so darn small!  Made in Germany they're about
a quarter of the size of a typical quarter-watt resistor
(Says their rated to .40W, which is almost double 1/4 watt, (is that right?)

One has to wonder if these things can take typical soldering temperatures?

Anyone ever use these?
Should I use 'em or send 'em back?

Oh Please *do* advise!  LOL!
