As a kid, I played with mercury. Just a drop on a dime would make the whole
coin really shiny. It didn't change the color of my fingers.

I can't "remember" doing anything else with the mercury ;-)

Oh yeah. Now I remember. A mixture of mercury with nitric acid is great for
cleaning the room ;-))
