The SFG kit was one of Paia's Experimenter Board series -- it wasn't an IC,
but a board with a dozen or so logic ICs configured to produce the
eight-phase lfo (simultaneous triangle & ramp). I sold mine on one of the
lists a couple of years ago; still have copies of the docs lying around
somewhere, if you're really interested (but note that I could NOT get a
readable xerox of the circuit board -- it was one of those translucent
things that would not copy well).
