[sdiy] the idea of building an electronic instrument

this is all new to me.
i've been here long enough to know there are some truly gifted people in this group.

i love the idea of building electronic gadgets to in some way or another throw into musical composition, performance and creation.  i've got two Blacet modules, preassembled (i knew i wanted to build them, but i wasn't ready).
slowly over time i have use for them.

it's all i got but here's what i do.
the blacet mixer/processor spends it's performance life gating the DSC module.
the DSC goes to a POS korg ms 2000r.
all of my drums and other crappy keyboards and the strangely interesting virtual korg getting gutted by a DSC module meet up in my new pro tools system that sits around waiting for me to aspire to the level that i was dreaming on last time i had a dream.

i would like to try and build something.
