[sdiy] Walsh gennie app

Hi y'all,

I just had a wicked idea. I was gonna turn one of my
raw kbds into a drawbar organ-looking-thing. You know
the setup: TOG goes into a big honkin' divider. Then
harmonics get mixed in via diodes signaled by the
drawbar settings. Then each key goes thru a ota vca.
Its the same setup as Don Lancasters synth shown in
the Cmos Cookbook.

Instead of dividers, what if I used the Walsh chip?
Instead of drawbars, I use a processor to set the
Walsh coeffs. Since the Walsh chip has 16 sin and cos
outputs, getting the next octave lower is a simple as
selecting coeffs farther down the line.

You would be able to do almost any waveform, and it'd
be poly! hmmm....
